Our Mission

Education is the cornerstone to socioeconomic advancement.

The Dominican Joe Foundation went from supporting one small, community-based classroom in 2013 to providing innovative education-based opportunities to 266 children and over 500 community members today — in Las Terrenas, Samaná, Dominican Republic.

Our goal is to provide all our students with the best quality education possible — by hiring excellent teachers, following a rigorous curriculum, equipping students with resources, and applying engaging methodologies. We are currently building the first DJF School / Community Center in partnership with Grupo Therrestra.
